Having been a primary school teacher with a focus on Waldorf Education, it is my pleasure to work with a wide range of students of different ages, developmental stages and unique learning needs.
I became a volunteer at Hospice after my own grief experience. Being at the bedside inspired me to become a Spiritual Care Provider. I have experience in hospital, hospice and community counselling settings providing spiritual and emotional care. The work I have done in spiritual care has allowed me to work with bereavement groups, families and individuals. I continue to practice grief work and am committed to being a grief tender, following the work of Francis Weller and facilitating Grief Ritual.
I currently provide spiritual care with the Palliative Home Care Team and visit patients in their home.
Co-owning and operating a Wellness Centre in West Grey invited a focus on health, living well, and self care. I worked collaboratively to bring artistic process and classes/workshops that integrated Yoga, QiGong with Mindfulness and Sound Therapy.
