What is a Sound Bath?
A Sound Bath is an immersive listening experience in which participants rest comfortably while a changing landscape of sound unfolds around them. Singing bowls, gong, percussion, strings, voice and other acoustic instruments are woven together with periods of silence.
The word bath describes the experience of being immersed in sound and vibration. Through Mindful Sound, attention is brought to listening, breath, physical sensation and the ways sound is experienced through the body.
This creates space for presence, somatic awareness and deep listening. There is no particular experience to achieve—the practice is simply to notice what emerges through sound, silence and attentive awareness.
Private & Group Sound Baths
Private Sound Baths are also available for small groups, organizations and community gatherings.

September 11 · A Return to Balance
September brings a subtle turning—the light begins to change, the evenings come a little earlier, and the call of geese can once again be heard overhead. As we approach the autumn equinox, light and dark come briefly into balance.
For this Sound Bath, we’ll explore rest, balance and return through sound, silence and spacious listening.
